About Kelly King

Mental Health

Discover tools and strategies that energize your mind and nurture your emotional strength every day.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with 14 years of experience in private practice. I earned my B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas and my M.S. in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. My counseling work focuses on supporting adults through grief, trauma, identity development, anxiety, and depression. I offer a grounded, collaborative approach that’s tailored to each client’s unique experiences and goals.

In addition to my counseling practice, I provide clinical supervision for LPC Associates. I’m passionate about helping early-career counselors grow with confidence, integrity, and curiosity in a supportive, reflective environment.

Mission and Vision

Unlock your potential through guided therapy focused on self-awareness, healing, and positive change.

At the heart of my counseling practice is a deep belief in the power of growth, insight, and connection. Grounded in Adlerian principles, I draw from a variety of approaches—including CBT, Gestalt, and Solution-Focused techniques—to meet you where you are and help guide you to where you want to be. My mission is to create a compassionate, collaborative space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to do the work that fosters lasting change. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and beliefs that shape your life and uncover new ways to show up as your most authentic, resilient self.

Services Offered

Experience true relaxation and mental calmness with our supportive counseling and wellness programs.

Kelly King Counseling and Wellness offers individual counseling for adults (18+) who are ready to explore life’s challenges in a supportive, affirming space. Whether you're navigating grief, healing from trauma, questioning identity, or managing anxiety or depression, my goal is to help you feel grounded, seen, and empowered to grow. I’m committed to providing a safe, inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse individuals, where all parts of who you are respected and welcomed. Using an integrative approach tailored to your needs, we’ll work together to unpack what’s holding you back and develop healthier ways to move forward—without losing sight of who you are.

I also offer clinical supervision for LPC Associates seeking a thoughtful, encouraging space to develop their skills and professional identity.
